Abby
Lead Nurse Practitioner
Abby has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since graduating with her Masters of Nursing from Auburn University in 2013. She has previous experience in internal medicine, urology, and urgent care. Fun fact is that Abby actually trained Dr. Adams in urgent care prior to him opening his private practice. Abby grew up in Opp, AL and is married to her middle school sweetheart, Rhett. They reside in Auburn, AL and have a two year old son, Wheeler who keeps them very busy! In her off time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying a day on the lake.
Alice
CRNP
Alice is originally from Alexander City, Alabama and has been a nurse for 18+ years. She worked as a floor nurse for several years before deciding to further her education and received a Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient medicine over the past 10 years. She truly enjoys patient care across all spectrums and focusing on the person as a whole to provide optimum health and wellness.
She currently resides in Alexander City. She is married and has 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and traveling. Currently, her and her family are working on visiting National Parks across the United States. When the opportunity arose with New Leaf Online, she knew she would enjoy providing health care to patients seeking weight loss and help women combat symptoms of menopause.
Angie
CRNP
Angie is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and has been a nurse for almost 30 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama. She worked in the Operating Room for several years then decided to further her education. She received a Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University. Since that time, she has worked in outpatient surgery as well as urgent care for the last 11 years.
Angie resides in Northport, Alabama. She has been married 26 years and has 2 sons. In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family. When the opportunity arose at New Leaf Online, she was really excited to start helping patients reach their weight loss goals and help woman tackle symptoms of menopause.
Karie
CRNP
Karie Bowers, MSN, FNP-C, grew up in Sylacauga, Alabama. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Central Alabama Community College. She then worked as an registered nurse while obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Nursing and Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. After graduate school, she has practiced as a nurse practitioner in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine before joining New Leaf Online in November 2023. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Karie and her husband have four children and two dogs. They reside in the Sylacauga area. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, motorcycle rides, concerts, and traveling.

Hello and welcome to New Leaf Online! I’m Marcy and I hold the reins of office manager. We are so excited to serve each of you!
A few things that I enjoy are, spending time with my husband, attending my church, playing with our precious fur babies, spending time with my mom and I absolutely love to watch SEC football!
Sabrina
CRNP
Sabrina is a native to the Columbus, Georgia area. She enjoys spending her time traveling and values her time with family and friends. With a passion for learning and helping others she began her nursing career in 2009. She earned two Masters of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University; one in 2014 with a focus in nursing education and 2016 graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been practicing for over six years. Sabrina’s experiences as a FNP include nephrology, occupational medicine, urgent care, aesthetics, weight loss, and hormone therapy.
Tabatha
CRNP
Tabatha is originally from south Texas, but has lived in Columbus, Ga since 2007. After becoming a nurse and working in cardiac/renal and ICU, she went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2016. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has experience as a provider in urgent care, family practice, weight loss, and hormone replacement therapy.
When she is not working, she loves spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and working on her new love of gardening. Tabatha has a passion for individualized and holistic healthcare. She loves providing patient education and working with each person to achieve their optimal state of health!

Hi! I’m Tracy, the receptionist here at New Leaf Online. Welcome to the family—we’re thrilled to have you with us!
A little about me: I’m all about spending quality time with my family, uncovering hidden gems while thrift shopping, and catching live music whenever I can. I’m also a huge fan of body art and love sharing my weight loss journey with anyone willing to listen!
While I have many loves, there’s one thing I can live without: the cold! Winter is not my favorite season, so you’ll find me counting down the days to spring.
